Thanks to Matt, formerly of the 3rd floor computer guy office, now with a fancy title in the MarCom office, for deciding to get some graduate student representation in the blog world and inviting me to play. Although I’m pretty convinced it’s only because he’s jealous of my fantastic Iphone and sad that he’s still using the dark side of telephone technology.
So the pressure is now on … as the first graduate student in the new blog format, I have to prove that we’re as fabulous as all those crazy, exciting undergrads …

Clearly I’m going to have to work on that.
It’s time to return to the ever-growing to-do list of clinical hours to complete, logic models to develop, articles to read, government agencies to visit, case studies to present and papers to write … oh yeah … and apparently I’m supposed to find time to work 40 hours a week too.
There we go — something to talk about … in addition to my time at JHUSON, I spend time working as a staff nurse on Meyer 9 (Neurosciences) at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and today we have the opportunity to share in the excitement of 20 years of being ranked as the No. 1 hospital in the country.
This year we also have the added bonus of being able to say that Neurology and Neurosurgery have finally pushed past the Mayo Clinic (which I love dearly as a native Minnesotan) to be No. 1 in the specialty area!!

GO TEAM NEURO!
Before I return to work I’m requesting some audience participation … I always prefer a dynamic and involved audience … so please, cyber friends, leave me some comments with questions, topics of interest or whatever else you think might help me keep things interesting.
