The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing’s first Saudi Arabian Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) cohort graduated yesterday marking the successful completion of a two year, first-of-its kind program. Through the program, nurses learned enhanced clinical and leadership skills, and strengthened their role in providing high-quality health care. Dean Patricia Davidson, PhD, MEd, RN, FAAN, applauded their achievement, saying, “Today you’ve become a ‘Hopkins’ nurse and you are now part of a renowned history and community, based in excellence and compassion.
