Tiffany Covarrubias-Lyttle, BS, BSN, RN, PCCN, has been appointed to serve on the Virginia Health Workforce Development Authority by Virginia Governor Youngkin.
Covarrubias-Lyttle is an MSN Healthcare Organizational Leadership track student at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and will complete her degree in May 2025. The Healthcare Organizational Leadership track taps nursing’s unique perspective at the front line of patient care to manage, evaluate, and improve an evolving health care delivery systems.
The Virginia Health Workforce Development Authority (VHWDA), “conducts research to identify gaps and needs in the workforce, collaborates with educational institutions to create programs tailored to these needs, and partners with various stakeholders to implement solutions.”
In addition to her studies, Covarrubias-Lyttle is also a member of the local chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) and an officer with the Virginia Nurses Association.
“I am very excited to be part of this work and honored to have been trusted with this opportunity to serve on the Health Workforce Development Board,” says Covarrubias-Lyttle. “I am so grateful for the opportunity I’ve had to take part in the HOL program at Johns Hopkins.”
