Understanding the New NIH Public Access Policy
Join the Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical & Translational Research 1-2 pm Thursday, August 7, via Zoom for an important session on the NIH Public Access Policy that took effect July 1. The revised policy mandates that all NIH-funded, peer-reviewed manuscripts be made immediately publicly available in PubMed Central upon publication, eliminating any embargo period.
If your team publishes research, it’s essential to understand and follow this policy. Nancy Shin, BSc, MLIS, AHIP and Elizabeth C. Whipple, MLS, AHIP from the Welch Medical Library will walk you through what the changes mean and how to stay compliant.
Don’t miss this critical update for NIH-funded researchers!
