During February, the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (JHUSON) will offer prospective students two opportunities to shake off the chill and get a peek inside the No. 1 Graduate School of Nursing in the United States.
Thursday, February 7, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Those with a master of science in nursing degree and all others interested in doctoral nursing degrees can mingle with faculty members and current JHUSON students while learning about the Doctor of Nursing Practice and PhD programs as well as admissions and financial aid options.
Saturday, February 9, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prospective students can take part in a question-and-answer session with faculty, experts on admissions and financial aid, and current students on the Accelerated Bachelor's of Science with a Major in Nursing and Master's of Science in Nursing programs as well as other post-degree options. The school will also open the recently renovated JHUSON simulation lab for a guided tour and a chance to meet its “residents.”
The open house events will be held at 525 North Wolfe Street, on the East Baltimore campus of Johns Hopkins University.
Pre-registration is available at http://nursing.jhu.edu/openhouse.
