Bunting ProfessorshipApplicants are now being sought for the Anne & George L. Bunting Professorship in Clinical Ethics, an endowed professorship created to lead and educate students and faculty in the field of clinical ethics. The professorship, a joint appointment between the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (JHUSON) and the Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics, is designed to provide leadership in improving the quality of patient care. The Bunting Professor will identify, analyze, and attempt to resolve the ethical problems that arise in caring for patients and their families.

The professorship will build a collaborative program of scholarship working with faculty and students in the JHUSON and the Berman Institute of Bioethics. The Bunting Professor will be a nurse who is an exceptional scholar and educator with demonstrated significant contributions to the field of bioethics, with particular emphasis on the ethics of clinical care, clinical research, and other related areas.
