      Join us for a Zoom info session where we will answer your questions regarding our online prerequisite courses and provide a virtual tour of some of our classrooms. You'll get the chance to see how the courses are setup, what laboratory assignments might look like, and get a general feel for what it is like taking your prerequisite courses with us.

      When you register for this event, you will receive an email prior to the event that will include the link to the Zoom info session conference room. This will require you to download Zoom in order to join.

    • Chat Session for MSN Entry into Nursing Questions Time: 3:00pm - 4:00pm Locations: Online Details:

      The online chat is a great way to ask any questions you may have, or see other questions being asked that you may not have thought to ask yourself. An abundance of information is discussed and we hope you will join us.

      Be sure your computer has Java properly installed and enabled, and your pop up blocker is turned off in order to successfully log into the chat. Chat sessions will become active 15 minutes before the start time to allow students to join. Registration required.

    • Intervention Working Group Time: 9:00am - 10:00am Locations: Online Details:

      Monthly intervention working group sessions alternate between two complementary formats: 1) a convener presents key issues related to their own intervention development and receives feedback from the group and 2) an application of Human Centered Design principles and practice for advancing the design, implementation, and sustainability of behavioral interventions. Issues such as ways to effectively partner with community groups, novel study designs, and ways of developing intervention protocols are examples of topics that have been covered. Faculty and pre and post-doctoral and from other institutions are welcome to participate.

Whether you are looking to learn more about our service-learning programs, or if you want to hear about the community-based organizations we partner with, or if you need more information about how to volunteer remotely, we will walk you through the various ways you can serve our Baltimore community.     • JHSON Alumni Conversations: Perspectives of Front Line Nurses Time: 11:00am - 12:30pm Locations: Online Details:

      Are nurses’ heroes? Nurses are doing exceptional things in unprecedented circumstances. In this interactive JHSON Alumni Conversation, you will hear from three JHSON alumni as they shared their lived experiences during these uncertain times. Hear their personal stories and the experiences they face that strengthened their resolve to make positive systemic change and deliver quality of care.

      This event will be 60 minutes of discussion followed by an optional 30 minutes of breakout rooms where you can more personally interact with the panelists and share your experiences, challenges, and inspirations.

      To promote interaction and engagement, the capacity of this event is limited.
