    • Chat Session for MSN Entry into Nursing questions Time: 3:00pm - 4:00pm Locations: Online Details: The online chat is a great way to ask any questions you may have, or see other questions being asked that you may not have thought to ask yourself. This chat is for those who have an interest in our Master's of Science in Nursing Entry into Nursing Program or are thinking of a nursing career.

      An abundance of information is discussed and we hope you will join us. Be sure your computer has Java properly installed and enabled, and your pop up blocker is turned off in order to successfully log into the chat. Chat sessions will become active 15 minutes before the start time to allow students to join. Registration required

      We’re All in this Together: Diversity, Values, and Justice, February 19, SON Student House Room 314, 12 – 1:30 p.m. RSVP

      Join us for a session on Shared Values with Keilah Jacques from SOURCE. Values guide our decisions, impact our perspectives, and shape our experiences. In identifying and sharing values, we create opportunities to engage and connect with people of diverse backgrounds in meaningful ways. The construction of shared values are a starting point for social justice in action. This session aligns with the SON commitment to creating an inclusive community that facilitates engagement among diverse populations both internally and externally.

    • Palliative Care 2.0: An Essential Workshop for Today’s Clinician Time: 8:30am - 4:30pm Locations: 525 North Wolfe Street, Baltimore MD Details:

      We would like to extend an invitation to all interested colleagues to participate in an upcoming palliative care workshop. The Workshop, “Palliative Care 2.0: An Essential Workshop for Today’s Clinician” will be held on February 21, 2020, from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Through this interactive workshop, participants will build knowledge and skills in integrating palliative care principles into practice, nuanced communication, pain, and symptom management, and more. 

      This free workshop is supported by Accelerating Advanced Practice Palliative Care Competencies and Expanding Practice Partnerships (MHEC grant # NSPII18-113). Breakfast and lunch will be served.
