    • The Fourth Interprofessional Education (IPE) Event: January 22, 2019 Time: 1:00pm - 5:30pm Locations: Armstrong Medical Education Building Details: The fourth Interprofessional Education Event with a focus on Interprofessional Communication is a required event for fourth and fifth semester nursing students. The event will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 1:00pm - 3:00pm AND 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
    • Online Chat Time: 3:00pm - 4:00pm Locations: Online Details:

      The online chat is a great way to ask any questions you may have, or see other questions being asked that you may not have thought to ask yourself. An abundance of information is discussed and we hope you will join us.

      Be sure your computer has Java properly installed and enabled, and your pop up blocker is turned off in order to successfully log into the chat. Chat sessions will become active 30 minutes before the start time to allow students to join.

    • "Why Not Home" Film Screening Time: 6:00pm - 8:30pm Locations: 525 North Wolfe Street, Baltimore MD Details:

      A screening of the 2016 documentary, "Why Not Home" followed by a discussion with local homebirth midwives. "Why Not Home" follows doctors, nurses, and midwives as they discuss the evidence behind birthing in various settings and make birthing choices for themselves.

    • SPAN Make-up Info Session for Summer 2019 MEN Grads Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm Locations: 525 North Wolfe Street, Baltimore MD Details:

      MEN students graduating in Summer 2019 who plan to pursue an advanced specialty nursing degree within 12-18 months of graduating from JHSON, and who can't make the main information session on 1/16/19 at 8 AM should attend this information session to learn more about the SPAN Program.     • Free Yoga at Cooley Center Sponsored by UHS Wellness Time: 7:15pm - 8:15pm Locations: JHU East Baltimore Campus Details:

      UHS Wellness is sponsoring a free yoga class at the Cooley Center!  Our outdoor series is coming indoors for the winter at a new time. Join us on Wednesday evenings (7:15-8:15 pm) to flow through your week with certified yoga instructor and preventive medicine resident Margarita Ramos. You do not need to have a Cooley Center membership or buy class passes to participate. This class is free to all students and trainees! Mats are provided; no registration necessary.

      This session will be led by Interim Program Director and Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning, Dr. Rita D’Aoust and many of our SON faculty.
