Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS) Annahiem 2019 Time: All Day Locations: Off-Campus or Various Locations Details: This is one of the largest communities of underrepresented minorities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Students attend this conference to present their research, enhance professional development skills, explore graduate schools, and network. JHSON will exhibit with other Hopkins schools. Promoting Diversity Among Nursing Faculty Force Time: 8:30am - 12:00pm Locations: 525 North Wolfe Street, Baltimore MD Details: Dr. Deborah Johnson presents and talks about the Diversity Research Network, a model of institutional mentoring to provide support for faculty of color and diversity scholars alike with a unique approach to institutional mentoring. She will also discuss best practices and models of mentoring. Dr. Johnson is Professor of Human Development and Family Studies and Director, Diversity Research Network at Michigan State University.
Tour and Information Session November 2019 Time: 3:00pm - 5:00pm Locations: 525 North Wolfe Street, Baltimore MD Details: 3:00-5:00pm. Join a small group of prospective students for an information session highlighting academic programs and opportunities available at JHUSON. The information session, led by an admissions officer, will be followed by a walking tour of the campus. Registration required and guests are welcome.
