National Curriculum in Reproductive Psychiatry: An Intensive Practicum Time: All Day Locations: Off-Campus or Various Locations Details:
The National Curriculum in Reproductive Psychiatry (NCRPtraining.org) will be holding an in-person practicum in Pittsburgh October 7-9th. Learn from and network with leaders in the field including clinicians from the Johns Hopkins Center for Women's Reproductive Mental Health. The material is slanted towards psychiatrists, psychiatric NPs, OB/GYNs, CNMs, and women's health NPs. Topics include how to treat perinatal: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, eating disorders, fetal loss, and PTSD, and will also cover premenstrual dysphoric disorder and perimenopause. Registration is limited to 50 participants and sessions will be interactive. Attendees will also have the option to enroll in a regular ongoing small group supervision meetings to discuss cases with experts. Baltimore Week 2022 concludes with a film screening and discussion co-sponsored by the Anna Baejter Society, JHU SOURCE and our community-based partner Health Care for the Homeless (HCH). Together we will view "Past Due", an original Health Care for the Homeless documentary (24 mins.) premiered at the 2022 Chocolate Affair, which shines a light on our collective housing crisis.
