    • JHSON Virtual Grand Rounds Time: 11:30am - 1:00pm Locations: Online Details: The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing will offer a monthly Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds Continuing Nursing Education Series, providing an educational program led by top researchers from around the world; featuring guest speakers covering topics from gun violence, psychiatric nursing to palliative care and COVID-19. 

      This first Virtual Grand Round will focus on Gun Control: The critical role of nurses in prevention, management and mitigation of violence. Dr. Joseph V. Sakran will present on the burden of firearm injuries in the United States, strategies to address gun violence, and opportunities for intervention in primary and secondary prevention.

      1. Highlight their health equity research and/or service learning opportunities for trainees
      2. Provide an overview of the process for trainees who want to become involved
