Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Center for Gun Violence Solutions at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health will host a summit on Friday, June 2, to improve the care of patients injured by gun violence and also to identify ways to prevent future violence. The event, called Break the Cycle of Violence Summit, coincides with Wear Orange Weekend — a time to honor survivors of violence, remember lives lost and commit to prevention efforts.

Johns Hopkins University is hosting a live, virtual briefing prescription drug shortages. The briefing is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 2, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EDT.
The upcoming briefing features a panel of Johns Hopkins experts. Topics to be discussed include: overview of the current crisis and possible solutions, supply chain challenges, implications for cancer treatment, and more.
