      The Journal Club will be an open forum for researchers to meet and critically evaluate scientific literature.  The journal club provides an opportunity for health care professionals from a variety of roles to collaborate, critique, and discuss scientific literature that promotes positive outcomes for persons with chronic conditions.

      Stressed out? Join Hannah Fegley, JHSAP Program Manager to learn more about how to balance your personal wellbeing with nursing school.

      Workshop participants will examine physical, behavioral, emotional, and cognitive reactions to stress; share successful time management and planning skills that help manage competing priorities; gain strategies for reducing stress; and, learn techniques to measure and manage personal wellbeing.

      Title: The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind: Film and Panel Discussion Time: 5:15pm-8:30pm Location: 525 N Wolfe St, Baltimore MD

      Description: Join JHU School of Nursing Returned Peace Corps Volunteers in the auditorium for a screening of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind and panel discussion to follow with individuals who have lived in Malawi.

      A 13-year-old boy is thrown out of the school he loves when his family can no longer afford the fees. He sneaks into the library and learns how to build a windmill to save his village from a famine.

      Panel discussion topics will include a general overview of culture and community in Malawi; rebirth, recycling, and reinvention; education and entrepreneurship; science vs superstition and magic; the business of survival; and topics from the audience.

      5:15pm- soft start so we can get a slice of pizza (vegan options as well).

      5:30pm- The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind
