Johns Hopkins School of Nursing is known for its excellence in research locally and globally. This Black History Month, we want to celebrate underrepresented minorities involved in innovative research here at JHSON and highlight their contributions to this legacy. From Dr. Fannie Gaston-Johansson, the first African-American woman to be tenured at JHU, to current faculty, doctorate students, clinical nurse researchers and more, diverse researchers are making great strides in promoting health equity and social justice. This event provides an opportunity to learn more about these researchers, network with faculty, alumni, and fellow students, and find out how you can get involved. Food and drinks provided.
