Join us for a Zoom info session where we will answer your questions regarding our online prerequisite courses and provide a virtual tour of some of our classrooms. You'll get the chance to see how the courses are setup, what laboratory assignments might look like, and get a general feel for what it is like taking your prerequisite courses with us.

When you register for this event, you will receive an email prior to the event that will include the link to the Zoom info session conference room. This will require you to download Zoom in order to join.

You are invited to a hybrid launch party for our media project, LGBTQ+ Narratives in Academia. This year-long project involves over 40 volunteer students, faculty, and staff from across Johns Hopkins University who collected and shared stories about the experiences of queer people in academia. Light refreshments will be provided. Kindly RSVP by July 8th.

Members will be presented information regarding SNA board members, structure of SNA/NSNA, SNA/NSNA core values, upcoming point opportunities to include community/volunteer events, upcoming board leadership opportunities for the semester, as well as host guest speakers/panelists.

The COMPASS journal club is an opportunity for SON students to critically evaluate recent articles from academic literature on subjects related to our mission and vision. The journal club aims to create awareness about current issues, research, opportunities, and initiatives.

Through journal club, we hope to foster opportunities for JHU students and faculty to dialogue about current issues in the field. We encourage participants to share their view regarding the appropriateness of the research design, statistical methods employed, and conclusions drawn from the findings.  The COMPASS center welcomes full time faculty and students to attend.

Join us for a Diversity Dimensions Experience focused on JHSON’s commitment to diversity and inclusion in our admissions process. Each month will highlight a different focus on the diverse and unique population of our students and applicants and the potential impact on the profession of nursing.

For this month, Admissions Officer Kaitlyn Williams with a panel discussion focused on the diverse history of Baltimore and ways a Johns Hopkins School of Nursing student can volunteer in the Baltimore community.  Explore the Hopkins mission of community impact as well as the JHSON impact through volunteerism.
