      Join Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health for a two hour interactive workshop aimed at exploring our sexual upbringings and the stories we tell ourselves about sexuality, pleasure, and identity. Be prepared to move around, share about your self, and be vulnerable.

      Case of writers block, a research paper needing more direction, or a paper that has simply lost its spark? The Center for Innovative Care in Aging is hosting a lunch for those papers that seem to be stuck and need more attention.

       Our goal is that someone among the group might be that missing piece to your paper or interested in collaborating with you to help bring it back to life.

    • NIH Graduate and Professional School Fair 2019 Time: 9:30am - 2:30pm Locations: Off-Campus or Various Locations Details: The fair provides an opportunity for you to meet and recruit up-and-coming young scientists taking part in the NIH Postbaccalaureate and Summer Internship Programs and college and university students from the Washington, DC, area.  Many of our approximately 1300 summer interns and 1400 postbaccalaureate trainees will apply to graduate or professional school for fall 2020.  They are a diverse population, representing educational institutions across the United States.  They typically have completed extensive undergraduate coursework in the sciences and a variety of research and/or clinical experiences.  Our trainees are interested in pursuing PhD, MD, MPH, and DDS degrees or combinations thereof.  In recent years they have matriculated in programs in the biomedical sciences, engineering, chemistry, public health, psychology, pharmacy, medicine, and dentistry.   Student interest is highest in the following schools/programs:  medical school, graduate school (PhD programs in all the biomedical sciences), MD/PhD programs, public health programs, psychology, dental school, and pharmacy school.
