      Finding Hope
      Presented by:
      Hope Canzone
      LGBTQ and Suicide Prevention Advocate

Hope Canzone was 17 when she became secretly involved with another girl her age. Word of the relationship got back to her parents and spread throughout her high school. Hope’s parents wanted to keep her on “lock down” and isolated from the outside world. Classmates, who were once friends, took to social media to ridicule and bully her.

Not feeling accepted for who she was and sinking into a deep depression, Hope attempted suicide. Fortunately, she survived.

Join us as Hope shares her story, and talks about the importance of acceptance and how to recognize when help is needed.
