The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in partnership with the Nu Beta at Large Chapter of Sigma will offer a monthly Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds Continuing Professional Development Series, providing an educational program led by top researchers from around the world.

In this November Virtual Grand Round, Dr. Jessica Gill will describe how biomarkers are used to improve the diagnosis of brain injuries. She will describe the three different purposes for biomarker studies, how biofluids are used to measure protein biomarkers, and the important considerations for biomarker measurement.

Dr. Jessica Gill is the Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Trauma Recovery Biomarkers and a 2007 alumna from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
