The Office for Science and Innovation (OSI) is pleased to announce that Dr. Nancy Perrin, Director of the OSI Biostatistics and Methods Core, will be hosting a workshop focused on Data Considerations for Study Design and Study Start-up.

Health and Human Services Office of Research Integrity lists data management as one of the integral issues to the responsible conduct of research.  However, studies often do not plan sufficiently for data management.  This talk will provide an overview of data considerations for planning and conducting studies including data selection, collection, handling, analysis, publication, and data ownership.  We will discuss procedures and approaches that will help studies to enhance data integrity and to achieve high quality data and confidence in the study’s results.
