Gaming is an evolving teaching strategy used in education. Studies have shown that gaming is effective in teaching nursing students and can help students develop a better understanding of the content, promote critical thinking, and participate in a non-threatening environment. This webinar will discuss the use of advanced technologies including extended reality (XR) and artificial intelligence (AI) as well as game-based learning in nursing and advanced nursing education, including current uses and future directions.

- Explain the different types of technologies and gaming being used in nursing and advanced nursing education
- Describe the advantages and disadvantages to each technology
- Analyze the role the technology and gaming can play in an educational experience
