Opioid Overdose & Narcan Training
Opioid Overdose and Narcan Training: February 4, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in room 140, lunch provided! (Come early to grab food, we will start on time at 12:30)
You will soon graduate as a medical professional. Would you know how to save someone in the event of an opioid overdose? Do you know how to tell if it is an opioid overdose? Do you know the laws surrounding the topic in Baltimore?
Come learn about the current state of affairs in harm reduction and learn how to recognize an opioid overdose, how to respond, and how to administer Narcan/naloxone. Lunch provided, and each attendee will receive a free naloxone kit to take with them, or, please consider a $5 donation to help cover the cost of your kit. All donations go towards the Baltimore Harm Reduction Coalition, an organization that gives out free naloxone to people who use drugs in Baltimore. Please contact Meredith Kerr with any questions, firstname.lastname@example.org
