Virtual Nursing Grand Round: The History of Nurse Anesthesia
The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in partnership with the Nu Beta at Large Chapter of Sigma will offer a monthly Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds Continuing Nursing Education Series, providing an educational program led by top researchers from around the world.
In this January grand round, faculty from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing Nurse Anesthesia program will describe the history of the nurse anesthesia practice. They will recognize the names of various leaders responsible for the evolution of the nurse anesthesia practice, and articulate the history of accreditation in nurse anesthesia education.
The Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds NCPD (CNE) Series will offer attendees one NCPD (CNE) credit upon completion of each session, with the goal of fulfilling the JHSON’s mission of providing lifelong learning for health care professionals within the community.
