Omeid Heidari, MSN, MPH, AGNP-BC
As a PhD student, Omeid Heidari is studying the effects of an individual's neighborhood and built environment related to HIV, Hepatitis C, and injection drug use with faculty member Jason Farley, PhD, MPH, ANP-BC, AACRN, FAAN. Through his research, he hopes to quantify how differences in neighborhoods contribute to adverse or thriving health outcomes. Other research highlights have included mapping the burden of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis for people living with HIV and Hepatitis C in Baltimore City. Heidari is a graduate of the MSN/MPH Adult Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program and HIV Primary Care Certificate.
