Biography

Joycelyn Cudjoe is originally from Ghana, West Africa. In 2012, she graduated with honors from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and has worked as a medical oncology nurse in Washington, DC and Virginia. Her research interests include cancer screening and prevention in underserved populations, reproductive health of female immigrants, and global health. Cudjoe seeks to examine and understand how cultural factors influence the cancer screening behaviors of vulnerable and underserved populations.
