Accepted Students Day—MSN Entry into Nursing Students
Due to COVID-19 related closures, Accepted Students Day events for March 27th and March 28th have been cancelled. Instead, we invite you to partake in a number of events and activities listed below which were developed to help make up for missing these in-person events. We hope you find the information engaging and informative! The admissions team continues to work remotely and we’d love to hear from you! Please reach out with any questions. We include simulations in our nursing curriculum as a teaching strategy that provides students interactive, practice-based instruction and offers nurse educators the opportunity to meet students’ educational needs. Faculty experts Drs. Nancy Sullivan and Krysia Hudson will demonstrate how the MSN Entry into Nursing introduces you to the best practices in patient safety and quality of care, and teaches you to think critically, solve problems, and provide care in a safe, nonthreatening environment where mistakes can be made with no risk to patients.

Faculty Spotlight: Research & Advanced Practice
Students pursuing their Master of Science in Nursing have the opportunity to work with experienced scientists on ongoing research projects. Following graduation from the MSN Entry into Nursing program, the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing offers two doctoral programs for those interested in continuing their nursing education, the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Faculty experts Drs. Vinciya Pandian and Catherine Ling will discuss how you can prepare for roles in Research and Advanced Practice nursing while in the MSN Entry into Nursing program.
