The Center on Aging & Health (COAH) at Johns Hopkins University is committed to its core research and educational mission: to advance the science of aging and the health of the older population. The Center goal is to promote the intellectual interactions that are essential to creative approaches to solving the important health and health care problems for an aging population.
Hopkins Population Center. The Hopkins Population Center stimulates and facilitates original research that combines the core strengths in social science, public health, and biostatistics in emerging areas of population dynamics research.
PROMOTE Center. The Center is founded on leading a unique shift in the current paradigm of disease-specific models of care to person-centered, community-focused methods that address various factors affecting health including functional limitations, family caregivers’ perspectives, poverty, housing, access to food, or traumatic life events.
RESILIECE Center RRTC. The Center’s mission is to improve the health and function of people with disabilities and their caregivers and to design new approaches using key attributes of effective and sustainable programs to ensure program effectiveness, relevance, utility, and scalability.
