Kathryn Kushto-Reese, MSN, RN
Kathryn Kushto-Reese loves teaching the practical aspects of pediatric care. Her core interest in education, publication, and presentation has been on improving the health and well-being of children in the community. Much of her clinical work centers on underserved, urban children and youth, particularly with respect to asthma care and education. In the classroom, Kushto-Reese emphasizes the application of critical thinking skills to complex pediatric nursing situations, educating students about dosage calculation, coordinating the skills lab for new nursing students, and implementing new teaching strategies.
