Diversity Dimensions: First-Generation Student Success and Support at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing

Date/Time:
Tuesday, January 30, 2024 (3:00pm – 4:00pm)

Details:
The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing is committed to highlighting the experiences, research, and practice of various identities belonging within our nursing community. It is a priority for us to amplify the voices belonging to underrepresented communities, while providing equitable and accessible opportunities to education and healthcare within our Nursing programs.

For this month, our Diversity Dimensions virtual session will highlight and discuss first-generation student success and support at the School of Nursing. Each month will highlight diverse and unique populations within our community. Alexander Murphy, assistant director of Admissions for diversity initiatives and recruitment, will facilitate this discussion where we will have current students, in addition to our Student Affairs office present to discuss experiences and support.
