Tokunbor Lawal, BSN, MSN, RN
Mr. Tokunbor (Toks) Lawal is a PhD student with a BS in Biology from the University of Maryland, BSN from Georgetown University, and MSN from Marymount University. He is currently working with a research team at the National Human Genome Research Institute at the NIH on his dissertation proposal focusing on describing and exploring the impact of genetic variants of uncertain significance disclosure on recipients’ health-related behaviors. He hopes to clarify some of the on-going controversy in genetics and genomics regarding the value of information returned to patients.
