Biography

Suzanne Cowperthwaite is assistant director of nursing for the Department of Oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins. Her interests, publications, and presentations range from oncology clinical and operational topics to combating compassion fatigue and strengthening resilience in health care providers. Cowperthwaite is also a volunteer peer responder for the Resilience In Stressful Events team at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and often mentors graduate nursing students.
