Sheila Misra, MSN, CNP, ANP-BC
Sheila Misra earned a bachelor's degree at Vanderbilt University in interdisciplinary psychology and philosophy through a self-designed program called "The Mind-Body Approach to Medicine." After two years of research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, she went on to pursue her MSN. Her specialty is adult primary care, with a forensics sub-specialization. Misra, who has worked in correctional medicine as well in the private practice sector, is currently a contractor for the U.S. Air Force with duties related to deployment health. She also conducts mental health assessments, "which has led to my interest in PTSD in active duty military."
Graduated as high school valedictorian and began studying at Vanderbilt University at age 16; competed in the National Spelling Bee
