Biography

Katia Reinert is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Public Health Clinical Nurse Specialist with a Master’s in Nursing Science from the Catholic University of America. As a doctoral candidate she is pursuing a dissertation focusing on early traumatic stress and the role of religious involvement and health outcomes. Her research goal is to identify protective factors that may help people experience health and wellbeing despite past adversities.

Early trauma, child abuse/neglect, spirituality/religious involvement, survivor’s mental and physical health
