      Presentation will discuss topics such as learning how Microsoft OneNote can simplify your note taking needs; storing your OneNote notebooks to OneDrive so your notes automatically sync with all of your devices; using Office integration to add documents to your notebooks for viewing off-line or on your laptop, iPad, or phone; using secure tabs in OneNote to store sensitive information that is easy to access; sharing notebooks with your teams.

    • Cluster Analysis and Factor Analysis Workshop Time: 12:00pm - 1:30pm Location: SON 217-Pinkard Bldg Details: Dr. Ginger Hanson, member of the OSI Biostatistics Core, will be leading a workshop on Cluster and Factor Analysis. Both cluster analysis and factor analysis can be used for grouping data or data reduction, yet this is where their similarities end. Join us to learn how each technique is unique. We will cover the types of research questions that are most suitable, the most common approaches, major decision points, and how to interpreted the outcomes. Examples will be used to illustrate. Students and Faculty are encouraged to attend.
       
       
    • Specific Aims Speed Review Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm Location: SON 510-Boardroom-Pinkard Bldg Details:

      The Office for Science and Innovation (OSI) is pleased to announce that we are hosting a Specific Aims Speed Review session open to all School of Nursing faculty. This interactive session features speed reviews of aims pages by both senior faculty and attending peers. A limited number of aims pages will be accepted for review and a waitlist will be kept for all interested participants. Please limit aims submissions to 1 page, and sample aims pages are available by request. 

      Please submit your one-page Specific Aims page via email to the OSI (son-innovation@jhu.edu) no later than Friday, July 7.

      The Office for Science and Innovation (OSI) is pleased to announce that Susan Wiley, Grant Writer for OSI, will be hosting a workshop with a focus on how to work with a grant writer. Grant writers inhabit many roles and have experience across various industries. Working with internal and external writers and editors requires some planning and communication. In this workshop, we will take you through the expectations, responsibilities, and process of working with a grant writer as well as discuss how grant writers differ from other similar roles. Faculty are especially encouraged to attend.
