Held throughout the academic year, topics include:

  • Job Fair Preparation:  Learn how to make the most of your time and a good impression with potential employers at your next job fair.

  • Navigating the Career Search Process: Get an overview of the nursing career search process, including timelines, how to network, evaluating potential employers, and looking for the right location.   
  • Resume Building:  Often, your resume is the only way for a potential employer to evaluate your skills. This workshops teaches you how to write a resume that outlines the skills and qualifications you bring to the nursing profession.  Resume Guide and Samples

  • Interview Preparation:  Learn how to prepare for an interview and present yourself in the best possible light.

Nursing Career Navigator

Stay tuned for our Career Services Management System, Nursing Career Navigator!  We will be implementing this system in 2017.  You will have the opportunity to look at resume books, seach for potential employees, and submit job postings.  If you have questions about this new system contact Career Services, 410-955-7545.

Include your job announcements on our electronic job posting board free of charge. Email your announcement to Career Services. We'll post it on our website, which is accessible by the SON community (password required).
