The May Diploma and Award Ceremony is on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at The France-Merrick Performing Arts Center Hippodrome Theatre, 13 North Eutaw St, Baltimore, MD 21201.

1:40 pm—Class photos to be taken on stage
2:30 pm—Line up for processional
3:00 pm—Processional begins promptly at 3 pm and lasts approximately 2 hours

Academic Regalia must be ordered by 4/1/12. To order caps and gowns, personalized announcements, souvenir tassels, and other items visit the Herff Jones website. You may order online 24/7 through April 1, the website will automatically shut down after this date. All major credit cards are accepted. Order regalia
Regalia pick-up for all degree candidates will be in the Matthews Johns Hopkins Medical Book Center on May 8-10 between the hours of 9 am - 4 pm. If you need your regalia shipped, you may call during the three distribution days to pay for shipping. A variety of high quality diploma frames will also be available for purchase at special pricing during the regalia distribution days.

Regalia for bachelor's and master's candidates are "keeper" regalia. You do not return your outfit.
Gold JHU regalia for Doctoral candidates are "rental" regalia. The complete outfit, including sewn on tassel, must be returned to the Matthews Johns Hopkins Medical Book Center by 3 pm on May 25.
Doctoral candidates who will be participating in academic events in the years ahead may wish to purchase their regalia at the cost of $908. Contact Rick Sadler in the Book Center by March 15 to purchase custom regalia.
Tickets are required for guests (not for students) for the 5/23/13 School of Nursing Ceremony, but there is no limit placed on the number of guests you may invite. Tickets are available for pick up at the Student House front desk, or room 116. Seating is not assigned for guests so first come, first serve!
Photographs will begin on stage promptly at the following times:

1:55 pm—Master's Class Photo
2:05 pm—MSN/MPH Class Photo
2:10 pm—MSN/MBA Class Photo

Tickets are not required for admission.
All University graduates are encouraged to participate and School of Nursing doctoral graduates are expected to participate.

Members of the faculty are cordially invited to participate in the commencement procession. Seating space on the stage is limited. If you would like to participate, be sure to RSVP by April 13. Details on line-up location and parking will be sent with your confirmation.

Academic Regalia is not worn at the July School of Nursing ceremony. Business casual to dressy attire is customary (no jeans or flip flops).
Guest tickets are limited to 4 per student. Information about ticket distribution will be available in May. Seating is not assigned for guests. First come, first serve!
