Overview

Jennifer Trautmann is a nurse practitioner in the department of family medicine at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital near Alexandria, VA. A former U.S. Air Force nurse and officer, she is particularly interested in understanding the impact of deployment and geographical separation on the health and emotional well-being of military-connected families and their young children. She was a Morton K. and Jane Blaustein Post Doctoral Fellow in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
