

THE ISABEL HAMPTON ROBB SOCIETY honors distinguished alumni and friends who give with exceptional generosity to Johns Hopkins Nursing. Established in memory of the first superintendent of nursing at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Society provides a critical foundation of support for the School of Nursing.
Members are committed to the highest standards of nursing practice and education and are dedicated to advancing the profession of nursing. Isabel Hampton Robb holds a unique place in the history of American nurses. As the first superintendent of nursing at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and the first president of the American Nurses Association, she is recognized as one of the founders of modern nursing practice and education.
