Laura Samuel: Doctoral Nursing Students
Laura J. Samuel, MSN, RN, CRNP
Laura Samuel is a PhD candidate with a passion for addressing socioeconomic inequalities in chronic disease. She is also interested in community-based disease prevention and health promotion strategies. Her research interests stem from her clinical experience as a primary care provider, where she witnessed the impact of poverty on health. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2003, providing primary care in community settings in Massachusetts, Michigan and Maryland.
