Biography

Ms. Draughon is a graduate of the MSN Clinical Nurse Specialist program at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing with a focus in Forensic Nursing. Her research area is the intersection between HIV and gender-based violence with a goal of improving long-term health outcomes following sexual assault. Ms. Draughon’s dissertation research is a mixed-methods study examining HIV Postexposure Prophylaxis (HIV PEP) following sexual assault using web-based survey technology.
